March Monthly Meeting Fishing outing 5PM March 28, Two Rivers SRA

Tuesday March 28th, Starting around 5PM at Two Rivers SRA near Waterloo.

We will be fishing at the Trout Lake. The lake has just been stocked with several thousand trout. They're not wild fish, but it is a short drive for most of us to get there. You will need a fishing license and a special $6 trout tag available at the park office. Each trout tag allows the harvest of four trout. There is no requirement that you use a fly, but we should have an extra fly rod or two if you want to learn. We'll fish until it get dark at around 8PM. (Photo from Google images.)

Please do come and participate!

Tuesday Aug. 23rd 2016 7PM in Lincoln - Meet & Greet @Ploughshare Brewing Co. 1630 P St, Lincoln, NE

Our next TU meeting will be a social event.  We have reserved the loft at Ploughshare Brewing Company at

The point is for chapter members to get to know one another and maybe tell tall fishing tales or whatever we find amusing.  Bring yourselves.  Bring your friends and family, members or not. Come alone even if you're not a member but just want to meet some folks interested in conservation and (mostly but not exclusively) fly fishing. If you don't know how and want to learn there will be some people here who can teach you.  And if you want to find a fishing buddy to take you to some of Nebraska's good fishing spots, that is a plenty good reason to come as well.
